Greentec Energy Warranty Policies


Greentec Energy warranties our products to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service, unless sold “As Is”.

Warranty period lasts from the date of purchase until the expiration of the policy term, as noted on invoicing. Warranty terms will not be restarted for ANY reason.

If the battery is found to be defective during the warranty period, Greentec Energy will issue a replacement based on requested information indicating a battery failure.

Warranty Extension

Batteries sold As Is, with damage, or questionable condition do NOT qualify for an extended warranty.

A twelve(12) month warranty extension is offered to any battery that comes with a warranty if they complete the following items within the first three(3) months. The twelve months will be added to the original warranty only after you have provided enough information for us to confirm all items below are complete.

  1. The batteries are properly mounted to prevent any movement that can be caused by vibration or external forces. For example, if they are on a shelf, something that would prevent them from sliding on the shelf if pushed.
  2.  If in a mobile and/or outdoor application like golf cart, scooter, or an EV, batteries are placed in a water tight container to prevent water ingress.
  3. A properly rated BMS is installed that will balance the cells, prevent over discharge, overcharge, and prevent the battery from charging and discharging under extreme cold conditions.
  4.  Pictures are emailed to along with your order information saying you want a warranty extension. The pictures must show that you have satisfied all three items above.
    a. Greentec Energy holds the right to post the pictures to its social accounts, including, but not limited to,,, and Facebook.

Warranty Exclusions

  • Improperly installed, over discharged, or overcharged batteries will not be warrantied. Any swollen, overcharged, or over discharged modules will have their warranty voided unless you received them in that state by Greentec Energy’s accident. Be sure to inspect your batteries right away and let us know if there is something wrong.
  • BMS, inverter, or balancer failure that overcharged, over discharge, or caused damage to the battery.
  • Physical damage or alteration caused after the delivery of the battery to the customer
  • Damages or defects that may have been caused by shipping, if accepted at delivery and not documented with the carrier
  • Removal, tampering, or damage to warranty labels
  • Failure due to damage from accidents, water damage, extreme temperature conditions, any condition beyond the control of Greentec Energy, Inc., or acts of God are not covered.

By accepting this product, you hereby waive and release any claim now or hereafter existing against Greentec Auto and Greentec Energy, its employees, officers, directors, agents and customers, on account of any and all claims, demands, suits, causes of action and all legal proceedings, whether civil or criminal, damages, losses, liabilities (including, but not limited to, strict liability in tort), obligations, penalties, judgments or fines and other sanctions, and any costs and expenses in connection therewith, including legal fees and expenses of whatever kind nature, which may result from or arise out of injury to or death or loss or damage to property or the loss of use of any property which may result from or arise out of the possession, condition, user operation or failure of this product.

This limited warranty represents the total liability of Greentec Auto and Greentec Energy for any battery. All other Warranties Implied By state law applicable to the battery shall be limited to the warranty period stated on the sales receipt. Greentec Auto and Greentec Energy make no other warranties, expressed or implied, including the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Under no circumstances shall Greentec Auto Inc or Greentec Energy be liable for any loss, cost, expense, inconvenience or damage exceeding the purchase price of the battery. The warranty and remedies set forth below are exclusive and in lieu of all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. No reseller, agent or employee is authorized to make any modification, extension or addition to this warranty.

Greentec Energy Refund/Return Policy

Thank you for choosing Greentec Energy as your battery provider. We understand circumstances might arise where you may need to request a return/refund on your recently purchased product. Below you will find the terms of our Return and Refund policy.

In all cases of return and refund, the product(s) returned will need to be shipped in their original packaging within thirty (30) days of receiving. The customer is responsible for the care and packaging of the return item, any damage or missing parts will be deducted from the refund. Any catastrophic (where the product is not reusable) damage to the product will result in no refund being issued.

Return of As Is Products As Is products have no warranty and are non returnable. We do our best to describe the condition as best as possible, but we do not guarantee it will be 100% accurate.

Return of Defective Products Defective products or products that prematurely fail are covered under Greentec Energy’s Warranty and do not qualify for return/refund.

Refunds of Unshipped Products If your battery fails to ship within 7 calendar days of your order, you are eligible for a full refund, including any and all deposits. However, delays caused by customer initiation such as but not limited to, failure to respond to scheduling, changing of scheduling, or providing improper or inaccurate information to Greentec, as well as delays caused
by natural disaster, declared states of emergency, or any other cause that is beyond Greentec Energy’s reasonable control, will not be eligible for a full refund.

Refunds of Shipped Products In all cases of a product being returned after shipment, shipping charges to you and from you will be applied to the balance of the order and will be deducted from your refund.

The CSR will then initiate the Return/Refund and will provide you with shipping information.
