As I expected sooner or later, my 15-year-old Prius’ hybrid battery finally died. Triangle, and numerous codes, came and went. I watched dozens of You Tube videos and called several third-party Hybrid battery companies. Two Toyota dealerships never returned my calls for a quote to replace. One gave me a cash and carry price of a basic bare bones new Toyota battery, no relays, bcm, cables… $3500 without installation. It included a one-year warranty. After much research I decided to go with Greentec. Ian was the salesperson I chatted, e-mailed and spoke with several times over the course of a week. He was very knowledgeable, honest and complete in his answers to my many questions. I am in NW Michigan, so my Greentec dealership is in Troy, near Detroit. After committing, I received a call that night and Mike, a lead technician scheduled the replacement the very next day. It was a 5-hour drive for him one way. He was polite, clean, respectful and diagnosed and replaced my battery in less than an hour. I had ordered a battery with all new cells not remanufactured with some new and some old. The new battery has brand new cylindrical cells, still nickel metal hydride. Total cost was “significantly” less than the dealership and it came with a 48 month no bones warranty, including free installation of a replacement should I need it. I took it for a drive as soon as he left. Unexpected, I am getting better gas mileage. First day in and I am a happy Prius camper.
I started experiencing some problems with my 2012 Honda Civic Hybrid. During my research, I stumbled upon Greentec and spoke with a representative named Michaela. She was very helpful and knowledgeable and helped me decide the best course of action. She set up an appointment with Dennis in Charlotte. Dennis did a complimentary scan of my car and it was determined that my DC to DC inverter needed to be replaced. I found Dennis to be not only professional and knowledgeable, but personable. Customer service is the determining factor as to whether or not a customer will recommend and or return to a business in the future. I am elated that my car is fixed and I highly recommend both Michaela and Dennis to help you!

Amazing awesome people. Was having issues with the classic Escape hybrid 2007. Greentec had replaced the battery some time back. Forgot it was under warranty. Called them up, some back and forth with emails calls etc. Got it to the shop – within the hour rocking and rolling – new battery installed. No issues, no BS, just great friendly service.
