What is a core deposit?

When you purchase your new hybrid battery from us, a refundable "core deposit" for your old battery will be added to your order at checkout. Once we receive your old battery, we will refund the core deposit back to you minus the cost of return shipping. (Cores must be returned within 45 days of purchase)

This applies to shipping orders only, in all other circumstances the core will be picked up at the time of service.

I reached out by phone to them on a Monday and after discussing my 2013 Prius hybrid battery options I decided to have them install a NEW hybrid battery with a 48 month warranty. The technician (Johnny) arrived the next day and did the complete  install  in a little over an hour. Being a technician myself I can say he did the job efficiently and professionally.  When he was done with the installation he then road tested the vehicle while checking codes. Kudos to Johnny. I can't say enough good things about the work that Auburn WA, GreenTec Auto did today on my car. I wasn't sure if I needed a new battery install or not, but they did a full checkout of my Hybrid battery and found it to be in pretty decent shape and recommended that I hold off for a bit to do the replacement. They also informed my that my regular car battery was going bad and needed replacement. All that took about 45 minutes at most. And GreenTec didn't charge me a dime for all that work. They were kind, effective, efficient and I will most certainly go back to them when my battery is nearing its replacement time. GreenTec is clearly in this for their customers, and not a for making a quick buck. They will treat you right. I highly recommend them.
